How to enable JavaScript

The following steps will show you how to enable JavaScript support in your chosen web browser. If your browser version doesn't appear on this page you may need to search the web for particular instructions or refer to your browser's documentation.

If you are using an older version of browser and need to upgrade, we recommend Mozilla Firefox. It's 100% standards compliant, has great security and best of all it's free to use!

FireFox 1.x
  1. Go to Tools > Options.
  2. Click Web Features.
  3. Click Enable Java.
  4. Click Enable JavaScript.
  5. Reload the page or restart the browser.
Mozilla 1.x
  1. Go to Edit > Preferences.
  2. Click the arrow next to Advanced.
  3. Click Scripts & Plugins.
  4. Check Navigator beneath Enable Javascript for.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Reload the page or restart the browser.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x and 6.x
  1. Go to Tools > Internet Options... from the main menu.
  2. Change to the Security tab.
  3. Click Custom Level... button.
  4. Make sure Enable is selected under Scripting|Active Scripting.
  5. Reload the page or restart the browser.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x
  1. Go to View > Internet Options... from the main menu.
  2. Change to the Security tab.
  3. Select Custom and click on the Settings... button.
  4. Make sure Enable is selected under Scripting|Active Scripting.
  5. Reload the page or restart the browser.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x for Macintosh
  1. Go to Explorer menu and select Preferences.
  2. Select the Web Browser catagory and click Web Content.
  3. Make sure Enable scripting is checked.
  4. Click OK, and reload the page or restart the browser.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.x
  1. Go to View > Options... from the main menu.
  2. Change to the Security tab.
  3. Make sure Enable Java programs check box is checked.
  4. Reload the page or restart the browser.
Netscape Communicator 4.x and 6.x
  1. Go to Edit > Preferences... from the main menu.
  2. Select Advanced panel.
  3. Make sure Enable Java check box is checked.
  4. Reload the page or restart the browser.
Netscape Navigator 3.x
  1. Go to Options > Network Preferences... from the main menu.
  2. Change to the Languages tab.
  3. Make sure Enable Java check box is checked.
  4. Reload the page or restart the browser.
